Which original documents for IR1-CR1?

Which original documents for IR1-CR1?
Fingers crossed in the not too distant future I will get my interview for IR1-CR1 visa, however all my original documents are with my attorney in the US. Can anyone confirm what original documents I will need for the interview as I’m meeting my wife in Mexico in a few weeks and it would be an ideal opportunity to get my paperwork ready.

Basically you're supposed to bring an original of anything you submitted a photocopy of so far.

You will need a certified copy of the divorce papers.
Look here under petitioner documents.
If you are looking at an IR1/CR1 then you don't need the birth certificate.

In theory they do. But they lose things. In our case, a tax transcript. It was definitely sent but they claim to have not received it (but received everything else in the same envelope) so I was asked to bring a copy to the interview. Be prepared for being asked to bring something you know you have sent already but they claim is suddenly "missing".
