Msc!!!!!!
Ok,
Maybe I am over-reacting and maybe.. just maybe, I am getting frusterated with waiting and waiting and hearing nothing. Not even an update. But, to try and ease my grief i would like to know, is lack of update abnormally long for MSC, or is my frustration warping my sense of time and space (so far away and soo long to go!)
hope this insanity ends soon

No, I don't think you are overreacting. MSC/NBC has not posted status since
9/1/03, and, it's general consensus, that the status report had an error for
K-3's.
I am very frustrated by their lack of updates. My theory is that they would
rather take heat for not posting status than take heat for not making
progress on any Visas.
I know that as of about 10/6/03 they had only progressed 8 days since
8/15/03. Hopefully they will soon begin processing K-3s.

They are not updating because there is nothing to update. By not updating you cannot say that you are thirty days past their last post and therefore cannot inquire as to status. They want us to be truthful...but they are lying through their teeth...

Thanks Michael,
I feel vindicated in my ranting and raving. I just got off the phone with my husband and he seemed so down in the dumps about the progress (lack thereof) at MSC; he seemes to think that he will not make it here before the New Year. Our NOA 1 for our K3 in 8-25-03 and what with the interviews taking so long to schedule in Canada and that fact that no one is even *looking* at our case for at least another month... I think he may be right. Of course I didn't tell him that, I sang the praises of the MSC and told him they would speed up next week and approve
all the visas left in July and the whole month on Aug but somehow I don't think it is likely.
It sure is hard to keep your chin up without even an update to hang your hopes on.

Yes, please post your timelines. We don't mind the ranting and raving, we just want to know where everybody is at.

Just how long are they taking? (in my case, for a K-1)?

If you are K1 then Missouri is not your service center. Where are you?
