Hi everybody,

Just wondering from your own personal experience or based on what you've heard, how long I
should schedule to be in Montreal for the interview?

I plan on arriving the day before seeing as the interview is at 8:30 am the next day, but
will I have my visa in hand the same day as the interview or should I plan to catch a
flight back the following day?

Any relative comments will be greatly appreciated,

Jenn

http://www.txdirect.net/users/mike38...nterviews1.txt for a collection of
posts about the interview. There are a good handful of Montreal interviews there.

You will likely be issued the K1 visa the same day, I am presuming that this is a K1,
if a I-130 I believe it is the same, but not 100% sure. When I went for my K1
interview in Montreal May of last year, the whole process in the consulate was only
about 5 hours. You should be able to schedule a flight back late in the afternoon or
evening following your interview, I was back in the air shortly after 7:00 p.m. You
can have a look at my experience at http://my.voyager.net/~hockeybabe/visasite/ .
