Default Keeping maiden name - does it affect AOS?

I am trying to decide whether I will keep my maiden name, or take my USC
fiance's name when we get married. For the purposes of Adjustment of
Status, does USCIS care one way or the other? It just seems simpler than
changing everything into my new married name, including SSN, Health
Insurance, banks, licenses, etc. But if it will reflect badly on the AOS
process, I'll change it.

Any feedback on this?

Sharon,

My ex-wife kept her maiden name and it was never an issue with the BCIS, never mentioned at the AOS interview.

Same here Sharon, Cathy kept her maiden name and it wasn't even
mentioned at the AOS interview.

I was wondering about that also!

I am keeping maiden name due to "name recognition" in the international
broadcast and Olympic-related broadcast community.

As long as you aren't getting a visa in country where the consular staff
holds to ultra conservative definitions of what a marriage should be
like, you should not have a problem, and it should never be an issue in
an AOS in the US.
