K3 Visa's 129f -1NOA not arrived
It has been a month, as of Sept.19th, that my USC husband sent the
129f off to Chicago and the 1NOA has not arrived nor has the check for
it been cashed. Is this time line normal? I mean is it normal for the
1 NOA of the 129f K3 to take over a month...I am a Canadian and would
be going through the Vancouver Consulate. It is rather disheartening
to say the least.

I am going through K1 though, and I have got NOA1 in a week. I am not sure
that there is a difference between them.
In any case, I am from Toronto and "Welcome Aboard!".

Some people never get their first NOA. But it doesn't sound normal that the check hasn't been cashed until now. Are you sure it was sent to the correct address?

That's why I'm wondering if they ever received it. It seems they always cash the check within the first few days. Even those people who never get NOA1 at least have proof that their checks were cashed. Apparently the first thing they do at the service centers is go for the money. If you look at Tenni's timeline, there's this one person who says his petition was returned almost immediately because he wrote the wrong date on the check.

My assumption would be that they never got it since the check wasn't cashed and they didn't receive any correspondence. I would resubmit with a cover letter...but that is just me.
AND a return receit requested. I got my noa five days after they received my application (one day)
