K1 withdrawn and travel under vwp.
Hello! One quick question. My fiance recently withdrew the k1 petition since we ended up deciding to get married in my country. We received no decision in terms of approval/denial on the petition, instead we received a letter stating it was withdrawn. I still have a valid and approved esta which will expire in the fall of 2017. Can I travel to the USA this summer using the same esta? It would be for a short visit & I will bring proof of ties to my country. Do I have to update it stating the petition has been withdrawn? Thanks in advance, and I wish you a very happy day!

Your current ESTA is still valid.

Thank you kindly Rene. We were thinking to file for cr1 next year or the year after. If my esta expired before I got the visa,and I were to renew it am I still allowed to say that I don't have a visa denied since it was just a petition and it was withdrawn? I know these are silly questions I just want to be sure. But anyway thank you so much for your previous answer, now I know I can buy my ticket!

Thanks Rene and Ian, and sorry for the questions. I just want to be sure I won't be charged with misrepresentation in the long run eheh. That's great news, I can't wait to see my fiance!
