Also, I wonder if people would please include the name of the local field office where the petition will be adjudicated when they post the filing or approval dates of their I-130. Which office adjudicated the petition is so much more important to understanding the timeframes than which lockbox the petition was sent to.

21 Sep 2012: Married in Aberdeen (I was on a business trip!)
13 Oct 2012: Returned home to the US without my love
16 Oct 2012: Posted I-130 Packet overnight mail to Phoenix office; G-1145 included
18 Oct 2012: Packet received by USCIS; priority date assigned of 18 Oct 2012
22 Oct 2012: "Notice date" of I-797C, Notice of Action
23 Oct 2012: E-mail USCIS Acceptance Confirmation e-mail received ("Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing.")
23 Oct 2012: Payment posted to my checking account for I-130 fees
24 Oct 2012: Received hard copy I-797C, Notice of Action, in the mail. Our MSC receipt number did not show up in the system.
26 Oct 2012: Called USCIS to ask about MSC number not showing up and they checked and said everything was received and our forms were definitely in the system.
13 Dec 2012: The case status finally showed up in the system as "Initial Review" today, with the correct receipt date of October 18. I think they are catching up with these forms.
03 Jan 2013: Called USCIS to check on progress. Tier 2 rep reported that our case was transferred to the Houston field office on November 19 ("Didn't you get the letter?" "No, sorry, we didn't.").
24 Jan 2013: Received response to service request dated January 22. Actively processing, additional review, if you haven't heard from us in 6 months, blah blah. Standard meaningless "go away" letter.
06 Feb 2013: E-mail, text, online status update - APPROVED! "Decision" marked on Case Status online.
08 Feb 2013: E-mail, text, online status update - Post-Decision Activity: approval letter mailed 7 Feb.
* 25 Mar 2013: NVC representative verified receipt of case file in the mailroom (no number assigned yet). FINALLY.
04 Apr 2013: Case number assigned at NVC. NO! It says DBL, not LND! American-educated processing clerk thought Northern Ireland was the same as Ireland. Called back, got someone to ask a supervisor, supervisor noticed the error and is getting it fixed.
08 Apr 2013: Correct case number verified; invoice ID and beneficiary ID assigned and e-mail addresses taken
12 Apr 2013: AOS packet received by NVC (according to post office)
18 Apr 2013: Choice of address and agent DS-3032 processed by NVC and e-mail notification received
19 Apr 2013: IV Bill Invoiced & Paid
22 Apr 2013: IV packet sent off today, overnight mail
23 Apr 2013: IV packet delivered to NVC (per usps.com tracking); "false checklist" received for IV packet, indicating (reputedly) Affidavit of Support acceptance
01 May 2013: Received a second false checklist; call to NVC reveals they have not yet started working on IV packet and they want nothing specific from me. Quoted 4 weeks processing time
06 May 2013: Case Complete at NVC!
13 May 2013: Interview scheduled, June 14 (will schedule medical in first full week of June) If all goes well, my husband will be here in time for his birthday!
13 May 2013: Information packet for interview received by e-mail (both my e-mail and my husband's e-mail)

* It turns out the delay was caused by Houston local office shipping the case to the NRC instead of the NVC, per letter from the Houston Congressional liaison to Senator Cornyn's Immigration staffer.

Default Re: Immigrant Visa (I-130 Filed in USA) - Timeline Only!

13 May 2013: Interview scheduled, June 14
13 May 2013: Information packet for interview received by e-mail (both my e-mail and my husband's e-mail)
15 May 2013: Medical scheduled, June 3
17 May 2013: Case packet left NVC
20 May 2013: Case packet delivered to London
** 22 May 2013: CEAC Case Status shows READY
03 June 2013: Medical in London, no issues.

* It turns out the delay was caused by Houston local office shipping the case to the NRC instead of the NVC, per letter from the Houston Congressional liaison to Senator Cornyn's Immigration staffer.
** CEAC Case Status has shown updates in READY status two or three times since then; must be file handling steps.
