I-864 'country of domicile' question
Hi, just wanted to clarify what USC DH should put down for the I-864's 'country of domicile' question. He's been out of the US for 10 years, 1.5 in Italy, the rest in the UK but he was studying for quite a bit of that time and has maintained some ties (bank accounts, credit cards, student loan repayments, voting (though not sure how you prove the voting)) and his parents are there and he's not a UKC himself. He doesn't own property in either place. I think it makes sense to put down the US as the country of domicile since he's still tied and doesn't have any more ties here than there, really. Does that make sense or should he put down the UK because he's been gone so long?
