Re: TSC ROLL CALL - N-400 FILERS
Sent N400 on Aug 13 2007 by USPS recorded delivery
N400 received on Aug 16 2007 - USPS recorded delivery notice returned
And so, we wait. At current receipting progress rate of one f@@@@@g day a week, I expect my check to be cashed around March/April some time.

N-400 Mailed: 11/11/2007
N-400 Delivered: 11/13/2007
I figure we may see a cashed check sometime around Fall of next year. :curse: Most likely, the check will expire first.

Glad to hear it Dan! You're off the starting blocks !
I went for fingerprinting on Monday (Oklahoma City). Now I'm into the long wait for the next stage....

Hi Dan,
Yep, from my comparisons with a thread I started on Visajourney, that's about right . . . TSC is four months and five days post receipt cashing checks.
Thank you for posting.
Please let us know about your Notice of Action and also the fingerprint appointment.
Thank you,
Archie Wilson

I notice on their site now there has been a massive leap forward in the date:
http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/usc...004718190aRCRD
It went from 7/31 last week to 9/29 this week - being as TSC was last for this treatment, must be that USCIS as a whole are finally at least making some effort to catch up.

Re: TSC ROLL CALL - N-400 FILERS
9/10/2007 - Application Mailed
9/13/2007 - Application arrived at TSC
Nothing since then ... I hope they cash the check soon now that they are supposedly processing 9/29 files.

Re: TSC ROLL CALL - N-400 FILERS
Ok folks, here's an update.
My check received on September 27, 2007, was cashed on December 21, 2007.
So that's 84 days.
Maybe they are giving this issue some attention.
How about the rest of you?
Any checks cashed?
Archie Wilson
p.s.
Ian, we at this point are more concerned about 'our' checks being cashed and getting into the system than we are about the nuances of uscis 'processing' dates.

Re: TSC ROLL CALL - N-400 FILERS
When those dates stay stagnant, people say, "well, we just have to wait"; when those dates move ahead, people say, "any day now..."; and when the dates jump forward (such as in this case), people breathe a collective sigh of relief as though something has actually happened to move along their specific case.
At any rate, I'm happy that you see your case moving forward.

Re: TSC ROLL CALL - N-400 FILERS
Ian,
Don't you think that the USCIS online status system is an improvement over those days when there really was no word about any activity with the petition/application?
Hey, you have been around a while. Before the USCIS fee increase date when so many folks sent in their N-400s which resulted in the overflow, it was taking about six months through TSC to have a N-400 adjudicated, assuming no name check delays. So now, what's your best guess on how long it takes to adjudicate the TSC N-400 seeing the time its taken to clear the backlog of assigning a case number and cashing the check?
