Hi All,
Temp GC via Marriage Approved : 4/29/05 - 4/29/07
NOA I751 to Remove Condtions : 3/13/07
NOA for Biometrics : 3/22/07
Biometrics Taken : 4/10/07

NOA says COND STATUS extended 1 year from exipry of I551 (which is GC right?) That makes my NOA for I751 expire 4/29/08?

Will get an I551 stamp via InfoPass as I may need to travel back home in the next year. So that means I need to get I551 after 4/2 right?

Nothing else yet, just add me to the list! :curse:

As long as you have your green card (even if it's expired) plus your unexpired 1-year extension letter, that's all you need to travel (well, plus your passport).

You won't need an I-551 stamp in your passport until your extension letter is expired and still haven't received your 10-year green card yet.

Why do you think it is a good news that the 751 cases are being transferred from NSC to CSC? Seems i am the only person here who has no idea what NSC and CSC stand for. I am so glad that i has found this website and knew i am not alone- my I751 extension will be soon expired, yet i could find no info when i could get my 10 year Green card. thank you so much for sharing the info. i really appreciate your help.

There are four regional Service Centers that people file to, based on their geography: CSC, NSC, TSC, VSC.
CSC = California, NSC = Nebraska, TSC = Texas, VSC = Vermont.

It is good news that I-751s are being transferred out of NSC and TSC because they are no longer processing them there. No transfer = dead case.

Where did you file your I-751 and when? You can look up processing dates on uscis.gov but you will be better off comparing notes with other users here.

In the 30 days before your I-751 extension letter expires, you may go to your District Office and get an I-551 stamp as more temporary evidence.
As you can see, it's not uncommon right now for it to take +1 year for an I-751 approval.

In other forum, there have been around 4 approvals from CSC including transfers from TSC just between 26-28mar...unfortunately there are none from VSC.

I just received an email notifying me of the transfer.

Is there a way to determine exactly where it was transferred once I receive the letter?

The letter should tell you where they transferred it, if the online email does not.

Thank you so much for your into. On April 2, i was informed that my I-751 has been transferred. My file was in NSC. They didn't tell me where the file is now, but i guess it is in CSC.

Thank you so much again for you sending time to help me.

I am glad I found this website too. Hi everybody.
I just received a NoA transfering me from Nebraska to California Service Center. I am concerned because I have a friend who already received her card for 10 years more and applied 3 months after me. Included, I helped her doing her paperwork, and I am still waiting. It's not the only case, she had another person who has received the card too, and applied by the time she did. Do I have to worry? I am in Utah. Thanks.
The processing dates that all the service centers shows online seems to be for past years...
