Default I-130 notice of approval

Hi we posted our I-130 for spouse visa 7th Feb
I am the UK citizen my husband is USA citizen
The USCIS is now processing applications for over 2 weeks past this date and have not received the notice of approval as yet
Is this a normal amount of time to wait or can you contact uscis to find out progress?
Also is the approval received by post or email?

Thanks in advance! May be we are just being impatient!

That was only 2 months ago. Was the I-130 filed in the USA or directly to London?

Hi it was filed directly to London

They are now processing appplications submitted a few weeks after ours so was just wondering if this is a normal amount of time to hear back

Thanks

Suze, is the 7th the day you posted it or the date on your NOA1 e-mail? That makes a difference. However, you are still likely outside of their current processing dates, so I would definitely contact them to make sure it didn't get lost in the post (though that would be strange, as you should've received two pieces of mail - the NOA2 and your LND case number from the IV unit).

Hi
7th Feb was the date stated on the notice of receipt email we received back in February so they definitely recieved it.
We have not had any further requests for information etc so hopefully it's on its way
I read that they post the notice of approval in the stamped address envelope you enclose with I-130 application pack.
Is that correct?
I am just wondering if we should email to check on progress

Thank you

Yes, I would e-mail them. Why even ask? It's certainly not going to hurt!
