I have an update on my application. I recently asked about time frame and concerns about my EAD expiring end of October as i had not yet got my interview appointment.

I have since received my interview appointment which has been scheduled for the beginning of July. How long does the GC come after the appointment and i do i have enough time remaining in order not to renew my EAD?

The card should come in the mail within a few weeks after approval.

Keep in mind that a GC is simply proof of your status... it isn't the status itself. So, once you are approved at your AOS interview, you become a PR... regardless of whether or not you have an actual green card in your possession. That status supersedes having an EAD. So, on the assumption that your application is approved and if your EAD doesn't expire until after your interview, there is no need to renew it.
