Yes. A friend of mine has been waiting close to a year now. He will be filing for citizenship in October, which should force adjudication of the I-751.

Thanks Rene,

Mine is regarding divorce, i forgot to mention that. Not really looking for citizenship but just the renewal of GC for now....I suppose divorce cases will take longer.

If you filed alone with a waiver, then yes, those typically take longer than a jointly filed I-751.
