Error on Immigrant Data Summary
Hi All - so I picked up my passport and big white envelope today from the courier centre. I checked my visa in my passport and everything is correct. However, on the immigrant data summary attached to the envelope, my alias (married name as my visa was issued in my maiden name to match my passport) is spelled incorrectly.
Do I need to somehow flag this to the US embassy to get it corrected? Will it matter when I get to the POE that it's wrong?
We are flying on the 14th so keen to get to sorted quickly if needed!
In case it helps, we filed DCF and was granted a CR-1 visa.
Thanks!

I don't think this needs correcting. The visa is correct, and that's what counts.

Thanks Rene and Ian. Thought/hoped as much so thanks for putting my mind at ease. All the paperwork inside should in theory have it spelled correctly anyway as presumably it's the forms I filled out should they need it for anything.

Re: Error on Immigrant Data Summary
I was issued with a green card with two material errors on it (changed the first letter of my surname, like Jones changed to Bones, and changed my nationality), and just two months after 9/11! But it never phased US immigration, they seem quite capable of dealing with documents issued with errors.
