Yes you "start" a petion by filling out the appropiate form...such as an I-129f for examle. hehehe.

i was being sarcastic kate, hehe, im sick n tired of waiting, im tired of being a house girl too, hehehe for a guy , i prolly have more experience than a cleaning lady after i get my ead, i swear id never expire my ead once i get one, id get 5 interims just to make sure!!!

139 days and still no EAD or Advance Parole. How are some people
getting their approval in a matter of weeks while I'm approaching 5
months? Just doesn't make sense.

after 90 days no ead, just go to your local office and request for an interim ead, that will be given same day i belive,

Yes, I'm aware of the interim EAD procedures. I'm ok with that. I'm
more concerned with the Advance Parole at this point. I was hoping to
travel some time in June, but without any papers arriving soon I'll be
unable to make arrangements in time.

Thanks! I feel "optimistic" that mine will be approved sooner. My case was received ( according to NOA) on Jan. 23 but the system (according to the CIS hotline guy ) was received on Feb. 2.

I am really feeling optimistic about all this myself. see, we filed our AOS, AP, EAD on 01/30. Got our NOA on 03/26, bio and fingerprinting done on 03/26 for AOS and 03/29 for EAD. according to MSC website they have received our AOS fingerprinting on 04/26. we are hoping to hear from them sooner than we think as everything seems to be good.
