Biometrics appointment problem
Hey guys,
So people who filed about a week or so before me are receiving their biometrics appointment in the mail for an appointment date for about 10 days after they receive it. So that puts me on course to receive the letter either next week or the week after. My problem is that I'm out of state for most of August, not returning until the 20th August. What happens in the instance that the biometrics letter comes and the appointment is for when I'm out of state?

Note that you are allowed to live your life even though you're involved with US immigration!

I'm with Ian on this.
If it does get scheduled during the trip I'd say try go before.
You don't want to potentially hold something up that's waiting on the biometrics.

Awesome - this has reassured me. I'm fairly sure it'll come next week or the week after in which case I'll do an early walk in.
Incidentally, if I do happen to be in CA when the letter comes - if I could get that letter scanned over to me, would I be able to use any of the Application Support Centers out west? I know it won't be the location on the appointment but I have heard of people maybe giving this a go?
