Re: AOS Questions
When would be an appropriate time to send off to renew my EAD/AP?
It expires in March and I'd like to get ahead in case we're still waiting by then.

Re: AOS Questions
Renewals are taking absurdly long these days. At the LACBA clinical where I volunteer we've been seeing up to five months.

Re: AOS Questions
Am I correct in thinking I attach NOA1 from AOS, and any documentation from my original EAD/AP application to the new form?

Re: AOS Questions
Thank you all.
I'll get some photocopies made of any corresponding documents and get the application sent off early next week!

Re: AOS Questions
Working from home today and had a small window and there is a FedEx just down the road from us so I sent it out.
Attached I-765 form, E-notification form and the following supporting documentation:
All NOA's from I-485/AOS process.
All NOA's from previous I-765 process.
Copy of my EAD card (front and back)
Finally the tear-off portion off the document you receive when you get your EAD card (it has barcodes on and says to send it in for "faster renewal".
Package should be there on Wednesday.

Re: AOS Questions
I bloody hope not as this is what I found in the I-765 instructions on the USCIS website and I'm category C9:
Renewal EAD. If this is a renewal application and you are applying under one of the following categories, a filing fee is
not required:
1. (a)(8) Citizen of Micronesia, Marshall Islands, or Palau;
2. (a)(10) Granted Withholding of Deportation;
3. (c)(l), (c)(4), or (c)(7) Dependent of certain foreign government, international organization, or NATO personnel; or
4. (c)(9) or (c)(16) Adjustment applicant who applied after July 30, 2007.
