AOS approved in Louisville.

AOS approved in Louisville.
Hey all,
just thought I'd let you know that the Mrs and I went for my AOS interview yesterday and I was approved, woohoo! The whole thing took about 15 mins in total. A very nice man, Edgar Gibson was our adjudicator. First took the Mrs in and asked her a bunch of random questions, then called me into the same room a few minutes later and asked me similar questions... (where we went on honeymoon, how many people at the wedding, Where we went on holiday together in the past etc...). It all went pretty smoothly and Mr. Gibson just wanted to 'shoot the sh*t' with us more than anything hehe. Didn't even so much as glance at our joint bills and other evidence that we had brought, all he took was a copy of a check of our joint checkbook, showing that we had a joint account and that was it. He said that I should receive my GC within 30 days, and reminded me about removing the conditions in 2 yrs - 90 days, and that was it, short and sweet and hardly broke a sweat
I was kind of puzzled though when I left, because it occurred to me then that he didn't even ask for me to hand my EAD, I-94 or AP back, and I of course didn't think to mention it during the interview. Now I'm not sure whether he just forgot or if I'll get a letter at some point requesting that I send that to them or if it even matters, so who knows???
Later,
Sean

Congrats! I can't remember how long it took DH to get his 2-yr card, but
I know it's all posted on kamya. Of course, our info is several years old now, so please post your more recent experience.

Thanks a lot everyone. I am relieved to be done with immigration for a while now. I am also very happy that my case only took just over 5 months to be approved. I'll be sure to post my interview experience on kamya.com in the next few days.
