$300 at POE?
My Fiance just got her K-1 Visa issued in Bangkok yesterday. They told
her she had to have $300 at the Point of Entry. What in the world is
this? I have not seen anything about paying any money at the POE.

Re: $300 at POE?
John,
Somebody misunderstood something. She will not need to make any payment at the POE. Perhaps the consular officer was concerned that she would have resources to get to her final destination after passing through the POE...but I presume that if you will not be traveling with her, you will be waiting for her at her POE?
Did she given this instruction in Thai or in English?

I'm guessing "They" is the consular officer, but I'm not really sure.

I figured that they were thinking about some other form that we file in
the future. I've seen some reference to a $300 application fee of some
sort.
Yes, I will be waiting at SEATAC, not sure where I wait, but I'm sure
I'll find it.

I believe it was in Thai, I know her interview was done in Thai.

It might be in reference to fees for later filing of AOS.
