Moncton Airshow...it was brilliant. The first one they have staged for 30 years, and I hope the start of many. We don't get too many big shows here as we are a bit cut off. It was well priced, the F18 and Snowbird displays were wonderful, and the sun shone for a bit...well done Atlantic Canada

It's only a couple of days till the kids go back to school
I was in WalMart today with this great big lump of a burgeoning teenager, who was attempting to look disaffected, whilst I searched for something called a bloody Duo Tang...there were women on the verge of a nervous breakdown in spades...and lots of bored looking teenagers...hold fast ladies....it's not long now

I am scheduled to start a new job on Tuesday, the day DD was meant to go back to school. Fortunately a couple of our high school baby-sitters are offering a babysitting homeschool programme. I'm impressed that they are willing to do it, and it will be covered by our $40 a day with change!

Went to stunning Lake Louise today also stopped by Lake Moraine. Tomorrow we go on a road trip to Kelowna for a few days. Think we will make a small diversion to Kamloops too
