Re: Westjet, Air Canada or BA
I have flown WJ from Halifax to Glasgow quite a few times and, if BA or AC did the same route but it cost $100 extra, I would go for either over WJ. Not to say WJ is terrible, but it seemed to me like I was flying on Easyjet transatlantic, so not quite as roomy or relaxing, plus you have to have a stupid app on your phone to watch a movie or listen to a few tunes.
Only flown AC once: from Heathrow to Halifax via Montreal. The long haul bit was great, the short haul section was awful.

I would choose BA, there are fewer announcements and they don't make them twice.
In practice though, the flights are never exactly the same and I end up on the one with the best timing.

Usually when choosing an airline my first choice are non stop flights...then choice of airline. I think without exception...every US and Canadian airline I have flown with have flight attendants whose general appearance leaves a lot to be desired. Bring back the Trolley Dollies I say.

I hate WJ. Flew from Toronto to Vegas with them...very uncomfortable seats...but maybe OK for a short hop.

BA every time if you are flying to Heathrow simply because T5 is so easy to get in and out of..and BA flights seems to have a better class of scumbags.

Re: Westjet, Air Canada or BA
Those were the good ole days. When I had flight benefits, I used to go somewhere almost every week.
Looking back I should have done more international travel.
I think WS is out of the running.
Thanks for everyones input.

A flight attendant on a United flight I was on was celebrating his 75th birthday.

At my height regular coach will never be comfortable.
According to seat guru all 3 airlines have a 31" seat pitch for regular main cabin. So no real difference there.

BA for the A380. So much quieter than any other passenger jet I’ve flown. Excellent if you intend to get some sleep during a red eye. Also T5 is a great terminal.
