I've long wondered why the planes don't collide at Pearson.

A couple of folks probably in need of a new job.

Either wing walkers were not being used or they were not paying attention.

When pushing a 737 there is literally no view of the tail of the aircraft and limited vision for the rest. The driver relies heavily on others to tell them its clear.

I hate pushing 737s due to lack of visibility from the drivers seat of the pushback.

The 800 and 900 is also very long.

Wonder if this apron at YYZ is fully controlled or planes push at their discretion.

On the apron I work on at YVR its push at your discretion and it can be chaotic at times but luckily YVR is not crazy busy like YYZ is so things are easier.
