If traveling that's essentially either down south - your Brit passport will do - or Britain/Europe - your Brit passport will do.
Of course that means you need to maintain Brit passport and PR Card.
If you don't go anywhere you need nothing.
If you choose Canadian Citizenship then you only need the one passport and no PR card.
Unless you move back to the UK and do it on your Canadian passport. But if you fancy living elsewhere in Europe - if that's still allowed by then - the Canadian passport won't be much use to you and you'd need a Brit one again.
I imagine there are still parts of Europe - including the UK - where it's advantageous to have a European passport. If that disappears with Brexit, entering the UK with a Brit passport is still easier than a Canadian one isn't it?
If maintaining documentation is a deciding factor, I'm seeing very little difference one way or the other. It's either two documents (UK passport/PR Card) maintained or two documents (Canadian passport/UK passport) maintained, unless you're cutting off UK/Europe.
Citizenship obviously has an advantage for being able to return. If you're young enough when leaving to leave room for coming back. But that's not a document reason.
Homer Simpson once said something about learning to drive but forgetting how to do the washing up. I think that was it.

Ha. If only I could replace some of the cr@p I know with something useful. For example, did you know it's Harry Styles' birthday today? Nope, didn't think so.

Billy Mumy's name was there too. 63.
How can young Will Robinson be 63?
Is this what the robot meant when he said Danger Will Robinson?

You will, its not difficult, but you have to read up on it, they will send you a booklet with all the information you need to know about Canada, much of it you will know already, but there are the more historic questions that can catch you out.
That said I took the British citizenship test and failed it! lol. There were a lot of what appeared to me stupid irrelevant questions on it that didnt really pertain to the UK!
Anyway that aside good luck with it all!

They didn't send me the book either.
It is exciting Howes. I don't know why it is quite so, but it is. It has rekindled an enthusiasm in Canada, that hadn't exactly expired, but had perhaps been snowed upon one time too many!
I'd lived with my husband for years before we got married...but when we finally did it, our relationship felt different. I think it's the same way I feel about Citizenship, I'm going to be part of 'something bigger' I can vote and be more enfranchised in my new home. I find it very exciting and quite emotional, like a whole new start....
Very best of luck...

I have no idea if the online version is the same.
