English Bay on the Grassy bit by the beach sort of in front of The Sylvia?
Means there are places to go if weather isn't sunny. Plus good and liquor stores to replenish supplies.
Room for cricket / frisbee. Paddle boarding canoeing etc

We could try for the Friday 8th if people would rather. It'd be nicer weather.
No, that's two weeks earlier and they're never on a Friday anyway.

any time after weekend of 3rd - Thats the end of Pride so Davie / Denman will have calmed down a bit.

Don't apologise, it's a great idea. The fact that the some see fit to have a go at you about trying to be helpful says far more about them than you.
I think that dressing up box has been raided a bit early, clearly we're back at school now. Heaven forbid anybody be seen as a nerd.

I was not trying to cause a kerfuffle. In my opinion (which everyone is entitled to by the way) the event will draw in more people by trending.
Not that I can attend sadly. Distance and all that. I'm usually down for a good drink up. Been a while since I played some cricket too. In the old days I used to open the batting at Aldershot CC. I even got into double figures a few times.

Just to clarify I was merely making the observation that I think a trending post attracts more interest than a sticky one for the longer serving member.

Perhaps the thread title needs to change as from your own posts that sentiment is clearly not the case. I shall ask Schnookololy.
Had you not seen fit to be unpleasant the thread would have stayed on track . So you own the responsibility here.
