Default Bringing puppy back from UK

Does anyone know how to bring a puppy back accompanies from UK to Canada? I am going over next 2 weeks and may be buying a puppy for my own pet- it would be 10 weeks + old.I am having trouble understanding the requirements. I am flying with Air Canada thanks.

The cost is going to be considerable, at least $2k-$3k. There would have to be a compelling reason to need to bring a puppy from the UK to make the costs involved an even vaguely logical choice.

That's cruel. Sticking it in a crate in the hold at that age?

Thanks for the replies- actually we just lost our 3year old English cocker spaniel from end stage liver disease and copper storage disease & we are heartbroken so for those who have nasty things to say- keep it to yourself. I have my answers as I contacted the right people in authority. If there was a way to delete the thread I would have done so.

I am very sorry to read about your spaniel. As a dog lover I understand the heartbreak of losing your best friend.

I will close the thread.
