Looked like pretty awful scenes on the BBC website, not sure if it's as bad as it looks in the photos or not, but it's bad.
I remember our coach being bricked back in the 70's going into Yorkshire for a rugby league game for Widnes. Not good.

I know things were not always as wholesome and heartwarming at rugby (either code) as we were led to believe but that's a surprise.
I was never a troublemaker at football (that was my brother at City) but being on Bristol Rovers Supporters coaches at away games there was a certain excitement pulling into town in a fleet of coaches.
Having a bunch of rival fans milling about and banging on the side just gave it a bit of edge.
