I wouldn't be bothered by walking it now. Imagine was it was like for the people that built it in the first place.

Should the occasion ever arise, that will be my excuse.
Pffft...easy-peasy compared to building it.

It's hard enough standing on the glass floor

How about marrying up here?

We did the Via Ferrata in Samoens in the Alps a couple of years ago. Not my video but found this footage on Youtube.

In a previous life rock/ice climbing was my thing and I would have loved to live where I now live for the ease of access to really world class ice climbing.

However, I am now far too fat and unfit to be able to routes that are on my doorstep. Every year I say that I will get back into shape and every year I become less and less "in shape".

I went across the Capilano Suspension Bridge and didn't really like it. It was in the 1960's and actually was kind of rickety.

How do rock climbers view the use of built in ladders and things?

I don't fancy either. Riding store escalators is scary enough.

I'm sure free climbers view it as barely counting as climbing. But many climbers use other peoples anchors too.

For a real adrenaline rush, or wave of nausea, check this chap out...

There is a great documentary about him, and others, on Netflix. I forget what it is called, but it is all about Yosemite.

Edit: Valley Uprising

Yes, it's brilliant. The dreadful thing is that you know for all his utter brilliance, it's going to end in a big splat.
