Re: Teatime Choices
Seafood chowder and lots of crackers on the side with Cheese Whiz. I have cheddar, but I like cheese whiz with chowder sometimes. Cheese really goes well with corn chowder too.

Re: Teatime Choices
I remember enjoying Daddies or HP sauces as interchangeable. Particularly nice mixed with baked beans.
But the HP bottle I bought here was more like a BBQ flavour. I mean BBQ flavour as in frozen BBQ flavour chicken wings. A bit like another brand (can't recall which) of a BBQ sauce to put on steaks before grilling. Not really the same as a nice dollop with an egg.
So I tried the fruity one and it's nice.
That's odd...there should be an image there but it aint

If I had to give an Italian name to what I did with those chicken thighs, it would be Chicken Sophia Loren.

Re: Teatime Choices
Fish Friday today.
Had some nice Haddock for lunch.
Magnificent supper. Big Argentinean Prawns, unshelled, cooked in garlic butter and mussels in a sauce mopped up with a bit of crusty bread. Washed down with a dry (French) Riesling.
