Sole meuniere would have been a better option.

Of course the edible flat fish we get here is halibut but they're extremely rare this side of the island. I went out of Sooke once and caught two 25lbs ones. Well legally the guide caught the other one but gave it to me as a goodwill gesture.

No, they were too, big plus as the above story illustrates, it would have been a very dangerous thing to do.
