I was asked what I thought of the internet. My answer was that I didn't know what it was!!!
That was only 21 years ago... I still got the job so it was acceptable back then not to know. Little did I know how it would take over our lives!!

First time I heard and saw the internet was in 1997 at the end of the school year in 12th grade.
The school was getting their first Windows based computers and were connected to the internet.
I graduated that year so never really got to use those computers much.
In 1998 I was able to save enough money to buy my first PC and got AOL internet at home. Dial up of course.
Schools prior to the late 90s mostly had Apple 2 computers or other early Apple computers.

In 1996 I went for an interview at United Artists. At the time they only offered TV and phone packages.
I was asked what I thought of the internet. My answer was that I didn't know what it was!!!

Oh right, 'Prodigy', I get it. It was an internet service provider that I think we signed up for in around 86 or 87 or a bit later. I can't remember too much about it but it was sort like limited version of the internet today. Obviously with such slow modem speeds it didn't have video.
