Glad you like the Shatner video and thanks for the Quebec version of the Molson Ad parodies
Yes there are lots of famous celebs that we all too often think are American when in actual fact they were born Canadians.....
Jim Carrey (born in Ontario)
Pamela Anderson (born in BC)
Matthew Perry (Chandler from Friends - not born Canadian but brought up in Ottawa)
...just a few that I know of.
Anyone know of anymore??????

Re: Remember the 'Joe Canada Commercial'...
if you have to explain who they are (in brackets) then they dont count.
Ann Murray is surely only famous in canada too? and Cory Hart is probably marginal in Canada. Bret Hart is probably a better bet for international recognition

Re: Remember the 'Joe Canada Commercial'...
I've been told by reliable sources that it's all part of a plot for Canada to take over the world.
Force all other nations out of the Entertainment business, reap the financial rewards, and subvert the masses of every other english-speaking nation on the planet via the respect and adoration lavished through the culture of celebrity-worship.
OK!, Hello, Grazia, all will soon become conduits for the revolution, ingeniously bypassing intellectuals, power-brokers and policymakers alike, and striking straight at the proletariat to allow for a socialist putsch in the truly old style.
You just wait and see.
.... Oh, and isn't Jennifer Aniston a Canuck?
