I wonder why it is that when politicians get a sniff of 'position' they have a makeover to improve their image but there's no advice for how things look in other situations.

Food banks, lower wages, increased rough sleeping, benefit cuts and all the rest while none of the image makers seem in the least bit concerned at pictures like this of those protected from society's ills.
