Did Sheriff Will Teasle meet you and run you out of town?

Re: Random stuff - the anything else thread
Wanted to get back home before dark which is why we left right away.
The test/sample drop off is available at 2 locations in the LM (Surrey and North Vancouver), but life labs doesn't do this test walk in and requires appointments the earliest they could offer was mid January.
Lab in Kelowna allowed drop off on a walk in basis.
It's my fault, and lesson learned, call the lab right away when a doctor gives you a requisition, some tests have limited appointments and month long waits. Don't wait until 2 weeks before your doctors appointment.

what cute puppies....
I'll add our windshield well, it's got to be replaced now. Rock kicked up by a truck (pick up not semi) hit the window, all was okay at first, then temp got colder, and now nice long crack end to end almost.

I've seen doctors sell eggs and things in their office, but never this.

I've been meaning to mention...for anyone who likes mince pies and doesn't want to make their own or spend a fortune ordering 'British' ones or spend a fortune on those dainty little overpriced ones that Sobeys have sold in the past - not seen them this year yet - try your nearest HomeSense store.
They often have surprising food choices in there and the one my stepdaughter works in has packs of Walker's mince pies (6). $6.99 I believe, which seems okay compared to alternative pricing and delivery costs.
