You don't think "not a pretty sight" was warning enough then?

I don't know who or how they put the nuts on holding the exhaust and tire on the scooter, but man it's impossible to get off by hand, at least I have not been able to get the nuts off..
Such a pain in the rear needing private transportation, life would be so much easier with 24/7 transit.

Failing that, apply heat.

Elsewhere on the forum I have recommended T-Fal's Actifry for making a number of things, including roast spuds.
Of particular advantage is how you can delay the end result if other parts of the meal are taking longer than expected.
If your roast taters are done but the meat needs finishing off the choice was generally to leave in the oven and overcook, leave out and go cold or keep warm in a pot but have the steam soften the crispiness.
In the actify, just keep your eye on them and if they are done or near done just stop them. Then give them another minute's cook when you're dishing up the other ingredients. Perfect.

Horrible day at the worlds busiest airport. Massive airport wide power outage today, seems they are slowing getting the power restored however.
Power outage halts flights at Atlanta international airport - World - CBC News
Bad time of year for such an event, heading into peak holiday travel this week, and this will cause a snowball effect through the week, already Delta alone has cancelled 300 flights for tomorrow on top of the 900 cancelled today.

A little nervous about the coming year. The primary airline we handle is pulling out of a route reducing daily flights by 3 so hopefully they don't decide to pull anymore flights.
Less flights = less hours and less workers needed.
