I taxied past what looked like the same plane this morning, on arrival from Kamloops. It was around 8.00am.

That was around the time the photo was taken so likely the same plane as I dont think AA has any other 737s on the ground at that time.

I felt that a caption added to the photograph, it conveyed the relentlessness of planes coming, being loaded, and going. The sameness of them all.

I felt that it contextualized the mode of transport appropriately and was moved at how the caption spoke directly to one of my most heartfelt emotions; the sense of irritation at people who expect one to know on what sort of aeroplane one arrived.

Concise, accurate, illuminating. It's a better caption than any of the Canadian papers will have today.

It can be. Each day is different. Only downside is people are packing heavier and heavier bags which makes loading them more difficult.

Really the only downside to the job is days like today where in rained from start to finish and you end the day soaked.

The 737 series are pretty low to the ground, the current generation of 737's are taller then the classics, but still not as tall as say an A319 or A320.

US airlines tend to be very lenient when it comes to bag weight. Officially its 50 pounds but we get a lot in the 55 to 60 pound range.

Before checked bag charges most bags were in the 30-35 pound range and passengers would check 2 smaller bags. More bags back then but easier to handle them.

This is the second fledgling to come sit on my car while I sit working. Last one took a ride with me trenton to belleville and I dropped him off in a field. This one flew away after 10 mins

It's been raining a lot. I was walking the dog this morning when the neighbour stopped in his truck "three and a half inches" he said, nodding sagely, and drove off. I assume he was describing events overnight.
