Well, as a rather nice change from Calgary, here's a photo taken from the tower of the church in our village in Norfolk... quite a contrast!!

I used to live in Washington DC. Have you been to the Air and Space Museum? You know most of the attractions are free and you can get astronaut ice cream in the gift shop.

When I was young on of my friends had rich parents who could afford a trip to the states. They brought some astronaut ice cream back with them and lorded around the school with it.

Sadly, it was a typical business trip where one's experience is limited to airport-hotel-office-bar-restaurant-airport. The couple of hours walking around were the extend of my tourist experience. I'd like to go to the Air and Space museum so if I have to go to DC again I'm going to try and arrange to spend an extra day there.

Astronaut icecream? Is that what happened to Neil Armstrong then?
