Default Norfolk Hooligans

Pubs and businesses closed their doors in Cromer on Saturday night after a series of disturbances at the end of the Norfolk town’s carnival.

Ah, Bank Holiday fun at the seaside.

Cromer pubs and shops dispute police claim that disorder was 'low level'

Low level by what standards? Brighton? Weston super Mare?

It was a 25 caravan-strong group of wandering minstrels who had arrived in the town and commenced an afternoon and evening of shopping, eating and drinking. Unfortunately they appear to have left their wallets at home. The police were called, businesses advised to close lest they experience unwanted stock depletion.

Cromer has clearly gone to the dogs since we left North Norfolk...

When I posted I just assumed it was a traditional mods and rockers, hells angels outing sort of thing.

Typical bloody Guardian not to mention what it really was.

Too subtle for me, I'm afraid.

EDIT: Ahh... now I see. Yes, quite.

Lol. When the riots happened in London I followed on twitter because my niece lived in Putney, Used the hashtag #PutneyRiots and it was hilarious. Amid the joking there was real-time coverage since the emergency services were being staged out of there.
