The trick in making great drip coffee from grounds is never to wash the carafe in vinegar. FFS.

At least two of the branded 12-packs are on offer every week at Superstore...50c a pod...use them when my drip machine is empty and I don't want to make a new pot yet. It's vastly preferable to a stop gap cup of instant
Since I wrote that, I reckon most of my home coffee is now from pods. $4 a box of 12 a couple of weeks ago. All good brands.

Has anyone noticed that Gold Blend seems to have made the move? At least it's new here.
I saw these jars out of the blue. It says Nescafe Gold (with the Blend missing) but the labels are the same as Gold Blend.

That was my mum's choice and I drank it happily when I visited. Not as nice as Carte Noire instant but decent enough. For an instant.
