Name a Subdivision
Subdivison names, and the various individual pockets and streets within them, are a constant source of amusement to me. I am sure that developers actually pay someone to take a source name and try to conjur up as many linked themes and names as possible to that original source.
Usually it seems that the person tasked with this creativity has little idea of the original place, but that's not going to stop their imagination running riot! And there's no way any new subdivison is going to settle for something as mundane as "... Street" or "... Road" when there are Boulevards and Broadways to play with.
So, BE-ers, let your creative juices flow, and imagine you are in charge of theming and naming the sections and streets in a brand new subdivision. The developer has decided that it will be named after his great-grandfather's birthplace, the quaint old English country village of... Wolverhampton.
Let's have your best and worst ideas!

Re: Name a Subdivision
I reckon the development namer might start off by researching Wolverhampton on the internet (who am I kidding? Start and finish, more like).
From Wikipedia we learn that Wolverhampton used to be part of Staffordshire. Eureka! Our new subdivision could be named...
Staffordshire Lakes.

hahahaha. I too love sub-d names.
Here's one named Harvard Gardens, cos a crappy development in South Surrey is JUST LIKE HARVARD:
South Surrey Condos | Kingston House | Polygon

In the spirit of WWI, how about:
Sarajevo Copse
This new condo building by Polygon in up and coming area of <insert name> is inspired by the architecture of early 19th century Sarajevo in a west-coast modern style.

AFAIK, there was one famous person from Wolverhampton. I hope he was really from there as:
Mutton Chop Drive
Holder Close
and
The Vales of Noddy's Cleft
work for me and are less stupid than the names of projects around Brampton.
