i thought I saw a short trailer for it a few months back. I think you are right and it’s set in 1986 this time. I’m not sure when it will come out though

BlacKkKlansman

I watched it tonight. I expected something deadly serious and it obviously is overall, especially in light of recent events, but it is also very funny.

There are two scenes that are pure comedy gold. A real sidesplitter.

Anyone going to see Bohemian Rhapsody? Provided I'm not working, I'm hoping to go in November.. it will take me back to that time when they played in BRISTOL - and I served them with drinks at the front bar (there were 3) at Platform 1 Club, at a 3am in a lock-in... cheers! Happy memories.

How fabulous! Pity there wasn't smartphones back then for some selfies. I'm thinking of going to see BR actually, given how much of Queen fan I was at one stage. Having said that, I listen to them so rarely these days, unlike some of my other 70s faves.

I have of course got my tickets booked for Nov 2nd. Gutted I couldn't be in the UK for the 23rd Oct. So much cool stuff going on. Saw a really bad tribute band (Queen Extravaganza) last Friday - there is a new frontman that either needs to grow into his role and not forget whole verses or be replaced. Super excited to see the movie. There are some artistic discrepancies but the fan club members that have seen the film already, have forgiven them.

And the best version of the theme music so far.

There is a show on Netflix called 'Maniac'. I have watched 4 episodes so far and don't have a clue what is going on. Please tell me I am not alone.

It's can be a bit confusing, but I really liked it. They are all dream sequences. It's set in the present day, but has 80s references, so there it might be that the whole world has been constructed by Gertie (the AI).

OK that makes a lot more sense now that I understand the world has been constructed by Gertie. I am 4 episodes in so I will continue to the end.
