Ice cream always tastes better with a whiff of gasoline.

Let me guess. Oh, yes, an advert. Silly me.
Oh no, not an advert, they are divine, especially the one with little almond bits in the chocolate. Haagen Daaz do an inferior version.

Flederman bought me a Magnum Ice Lolly on our first date at Wells Next the Sea. That convinced me he was lovely.

Last time I was in Wells next the sea I arrived by boat on a circumnavigation of the UK. After a long day at sea we retired to the yacht club & then the pub we were staying at for n beers. After n beers, our skipper fell over and broke his leg & ended up being taken off in an ambulance leaving me to take his boat the rest of the way round Britain.

No Magnums were consumed in the making of this, largely irrelevant, story but thread drifting is a speciality of mine.

One ice lolly? Really that's all it took? I wish I had met you back in the day.

One ice lolly was the key to a second date, and so on... Of course if I'd met you way back then..

I bought a Magnum (classic, almond and caramel were on sale) from a stall on the sea wall in Stanley Park last week while on a business trip to Vancouver. It was delicious

I've just finished an Almond Magnum, definitely my favourite ice cream. A sunny 25 deg C in our little part of rural Norfolk today so I felt it was deserved

I indulged in a Magnum Classic last night on the strength of this thread. It was nice, but just a choc ice on a stick. Not sure what the big whoop is about.
