On a lighter note.....
I was outside just now having a smoke.
I heard a sound that (quite literally) made me whoop.

Spring is the time when one envies people who smoke. I'd like to be out there with a Marlboro listening to the geese, watching horses shed and deer gamboling. Instead I'm inside watching a portable toilet dangle from a crane 100' above the street and rather hoping it'll burst like bright blue seed pod.

I remember seeing the big fat mallard ducks around Granville Island and wondering how they managed not to get stuffed into a shopping bag.
