Ah now then Steve, you may be an old git.
BUT he's turning into a miserable git, not sure if its cos he now realises he should have come to Calgary to be with the 'Beautiful' people or that he's missing the fantastic british weather and the lovely area of Tameside.

Blimey - you'd think he'd be happy! Driving in Saskatchewan is so flat and straight - you just put the cruise on and go sit in the back, watch a movie and eat pizza, eh??

Nothing wrong with eating beaver (well except if you're a vegetarian) and here's a delicious sounding beaver recipe:

BEAVER ROAST WITH BARBECUE SAUCE

1 small to medium beaver cut into serving size pieces
1/2 tsp. salt
1 teaspoon instant minced onion
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 cup chili sauce
1 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 ( 7 oz.) bottle of beer or pickle juice

Place pieces of beaver in a foil-lined roasting pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and roast, covered for a half hour. Meanwhile, mix other ingredients in a small bowl for barbecue sauce. After meat has roasted a half hour, uncover and pour barbecue sauce over the pieces. Then roast, uncovered, for another half hour to an hour--until tender. Baste several times during cooking, using your barbecue sauce.

Bon appetit everybody.
