Kijiji Buyers, Robbed and beaten
This happened near Jane and Finch, just off Grand Ravine, not a nice area I know but bloody heck WTF attacked with guns and machetes then told to call relatives and get more $$$ for ransom !!!!

This is why you always meet at a neutral location that is very very public. Tim Hortons parking lots are great for doing these kind of deals.
I buy and sell a lot of music gear (guitar) and, despite being 6'1" and 250lbs and being more than capable of taking care of myself (I helped to pay my way through university and grad school by working as a bouncer so am no stranger to physical confrontations), I always meet at a neutral location that has plenty of people about.
