It didn't last long. Been a chilly few days and tonight's -9 feels like is supposed to be -13.

Our garden was covered in snow this morning, and the wind was really most horrid. I'm doing a bottle drive on Saturday... Please cheer up weather for that

sometimes I remember that years ago we wanted to look at both NS and the Okanagon region. We never got to Kelowna. I sometimes wonder what my life would be like now if we had, certainly warmer I am sure

I do home visits and yesterday I went to a Lebanese ladies house.
It was funny to me that she was complaining about the weather here. She said in Lebanon you are guaranteed the weather will be dry in the summer so it doesn't spoil your plans. She didn't think much of Ontario weather.
I didn't have the heart to tell her that the weather here is so much better then in the U.K. Wasn't actually sure she would have believed me!

Tell her to stay where she is then, New Brunswick would drive anyone demented...I've often thought about the numbers of Syrians who have ended up in Fredericton...they didn't chose, like I did, to come here, they are meant to be coming to somewhere safe and welcoming, but frankly the climate alone is far from welcoming to anyone. This particular bit of NB has a particularly horrible climate.
