Ice Ice Baby
So school is cancelled due to the ice storm (a baby compared to last time, but still a nicely ice cubed car) and I'm working from home.
Who is around to entertain me?

The camping stove is ready for action to keep a steady stream of coffee available in case the electricity goes away again.

Switch it all off. Learned that in Africa when a rogue laptop would cheerfully use a weeks worth a bandwidth to download some apple nonsense simply because the kids had plugged their ipod in to charge on the USB.

I'm at home. All my vacation plans have ended up being cancelled due to illness or bad weather.
I'm.taking advantage of Bens absence to binge watch TV.

I've come into the (client's) office where there's hardly anyone. It being so slow, I put the time to good use by going to Costco and the liquor store. Both deserted.

Conversely, I’ve spent more time at the office in the last two weeks than I have since Christmas. Mainly due the living room being constantly occupied by dated Spice Girl wannabes hysterically giggling coupled with the place being littered with decorating magazines, pattern books and fabric swatches. This doesn't bode well.

Is it me or is Canada losing its hardened edge to inclement weather.....its like like living back in the UK, when eveyone starts getting terrified that they will be snowed in, and over prepare, and all that follows is an inch of slush.
Seems everyone here has started to get a bit over reactive of late...this is Canada!! not the UK! what next......grocery stores selling out of bread and milk!? lol
Maybe its because we had a non event winter this year with hardly any snow.

I probably didn’t help matters when I came home yesterday and proclaimed it looked liked a macabre scene from Spice World and then asked whether they were picking out patterns for vajazzles.

All in a couple of posts, I have considerably grown my vocab I'm not into card games, but I must say the vajazzles gives me pause for thought....maybe when the climate warms a tad You mob over in Ontario are sending the ice this way I believe, it looks as though it will arrive with us tonight....
