Not as good as Marmite but acceptable if the real thing was ever banned, like that scare a couple of years ago. I'm still on the supply panic bought for me.

Proper grilled cheese of course, not the North American fried version

No, really, that does work well enough bt not quite the same as cheese on toast. I do some with Marmite and some without and alternate the pieces.

I like Cabot's 'Seriously Sharp Cheddar' although it can't be cheddar unless it's from Zummerzet. It's a decent alternative.

Marmite. A good dollop enhances insipid gravy.

Otherwise I’m in the “it’s an abomination/can’t stand it” camp.

It's now 11:10 pm..I've been in bed for a while, but seeing this has made me go downstairs in a small forage for toast and Marmite thank you - a good night of rest beckons!

Sleep well...I will now

Unless you can snort it off a hookers breasts, I’m not trying it.

I have obviously lived a rather sheltered Marmite life... lots of inspiration to try! Thank you

I like Vegemite (you have to - they put it in the citizenship pledge ). I like chocolate. But this was an absolute abomination that still has me recoiling in horror when I recall the taste.

Vegemite soldiers with a dippy egg is the breakfast choice of champions.

I think you may have to lick it, but the flavour combination may not be nice, no, hang on, im having more southerly/antipodean thoughts about that.

Yes marmite is definitely a perversion!
