Help - Moving to Saskatoon in May 08 and want to meet ex pats
Hello
Are there any fellow Brits that have moved or moving to Saskatoon very soon. We are landing there on the 9th May and would like to meet up with any ex pats as we will not know a soul!!
We are in our mid fourties and have a 9 year old daughter that needs to meet new friends just like we want to.
If you are interested please get in touch and we can hopefully get to know each other in the next 6 weeks so we can arrange to meet up with you.
Thanks
Kevin and Julie and Natalie

Hi, I am from Moose Jaw, about three hours south of Toon Town. Would'nt mind meeting and greeting you guys on your arrival at all. Have friends there, so could combine a visit. Mark is also from there and posts on here regularly, although he seems to be keeping a low profile lately.

Hi Julie,
We live in Indian Head - it is about three hours from Saskatoon, hopefully in the Summer we will all have the very first BE Saskatchewan meet-up somewhere and see you there.
Carrie-anne lives just outside Saskatoon, she may meet up with you
All the best and you picked a good time to arrive - not like us two idiots who came in the middle of January and -40.

Hi Julie and Co, we're in Regina Beach about 2 1/4 hours south, we are bound to meet up sometime but you're welcome to call in if you're passing .
By the way, I love Saskatoon, great ice cream from the red double decker bus by the river and good shopping in the mid town mall.

As for 732 Grand Ave, it is even nicer than the Milky Way!!! We already have been inside it and it needs nothing done, has all its original character features and beautiful decor. The owner is getting a lot of interest.
Richard really wanted to buy it but it only has two double bedrooms upstairs and a third strange room in the stone basement - dont really know if you would use it as a bedroom though - he has it set up as a large office.
You should come out and have a look see - it will take your breath away - the yard is gorgeous too.

The Milky Way is Regina's most famous ice-cream shop on Victoria Ave, City Centre end. We had some from it on Good Friday it was lovely.
