I took a quick look and I immediately developed a bias against them.
Occasionally we have customers ask how we compare to grocery store pricing. We always explain that our product is not what you are getting in the grocery store; you aren't comparing apples to apples. The burgers on the left are from our grassfed highland beef cattle, the burgers on the right are from a box from the grocery store...
The accompanying picture isn't an apples with apples comparison either.
Spoiler:

That's just about the worst of the store burgers available. There are plenty that look like theirs.

I will forgive them, though, if they will send me some Cumberland sausages.

is that why there's a GT not 10 miles from the penitentiary?

Make sure you don't get the camo gear with the hi-vis tape on.
I can sort you out with a new passport.

I'll need a mugshot though. No teacups.

The supposed good ones look the same as the ones I got from a box at the grocery store. The bad looking on in that photo is what, no names variety?

Those are nasty things.

that looks rather fatty for grass fed cattle. Are they corn finished?

The burgers on the right look like Compliments burgers which actually tasted ok

For me $21 for 800g of parmesan is big spending, but I couldn't see another way. The wild Newfoundland garlic and tomatoes from my friend's garden deserves the good stuff.

Good example of why Shoppers Drug Mart should not be ignored.
As well as more often than not being the cheapest for pepsi/coke/7up/sprite, basic cheese, eggs, sliced bread, butter, chocolate and toiletries if you're not brand loyal, this week they advertised PC coffee pods for $5.99 for 12, including the strong but wonderfully smooth Sumatra version.

That's a fantastic price. Only the real cheap stuff ever gets down to around 50c a cup.

Of course it's cheaper again by the tin for the PC dark roast - but I have a tower of 5 tins of that already - mostly @ $7.99 from Shoppers by the way .

I also bought ASA 81mg, on offer. You do well to get 120 for $10-$12 so 180 for $15.99 is pretty good...and then there was a bonus 30 pack attached too.

Useful things, pill splitters.

I now use ours for halving equal sweeteners when one's not enough and two is too many if a have a large coffee.

Silly arse...I forgot the other bit. Instead of a 20x the points weekend they did two free cinema tickets to go with my bargains.

Anyone else with a No Frills store near them, has your store been rennovated?

Yellow paint gone, fancier store shelving, looking more like a typical grocery store?

Our No Frills has been undergoing some renovations, the yellow paint is gone and some other additions that seem to go against the No Frills advertising, almost makes me think they are changing banners to one of the higher priced Loblaws banners such as Independent.

They might be. Our No Frills were renovated a couple of years ago and are still yellow.
