Season 6 of Homeland. I've only seen the first part so far, with parts 2 and 3 planned for tonight - with the compulsory accompanying whisky and 7Up.
I hope it continues a lot better than the first one though. I was very disappointed in that.
Maybe it would have had more going for it without the assumption that the next Prez would be a woman.
But then if they'd written a part for someone like Trump it would have seemed far fetched. Albeit we know differently now.

Watched the last part of Unforgotten (series two) last night so started River tonight knowing very little about it.
Rather obvious similarities with the very good, therefore cancelled, American series
Not sure how it's going to go yet.

Re: Goggle box- anything worth watching on TV?
I've just watched the BBC's "The Moorside" (2 part "docu-drama") based on the Shannon Matthews case. I thought it was very powerful, but it seems to have caused quite a bit of controversy Over There.
IMO, some of the people upset about it are missing the point about it NOT being about Shannon directly, nor a reconstruction of the case, but rather about how it played out/affected others.
Has anyone else seen it? Have any thoughts?

Currently watching the 'Good Karma Hospital', Amanda Redman and Neil Morrisey, looks a good series. SSGB started last night, not watched it yet, but it's a BBC 5 parter based on the Len Deighton novel.
